Bold, then flaky
Colour looks strong at first, then lips peel like they're chapped. Let it come away on its own.

The ghost stage
Colour can look almost gone. It isn't. It returns softer and more natural over the next few weeks.

Sophie checks your healed colour and perfects the shape. This is when lips look their best.

The things people ask most before booking.
Does lip blush hurt?
Most clients describe a light scratching feeling. Numbing cream goes on before and during treatment, and some clients fall asleep. If you're nervous, tell Sophie at your consultation and she'll take extra time with numbing.
How long does lip blush last?
Between 1 and 3 years. Oily skin, lighter shades and lots of sun make it fade faster. Daily SPF lip balm helps it last, and an annual colour refresh keeps it looking fresh.
Why do my lips look so dark straight after?
That's normal. Fresh colour sits on the surface and looks bold. Once healed, it's usually around a third softer. Judge your result at 4 weeks, not day 1.
Can I have lip blush if I have filler?
Yes, they work well together. Wait at least 3 to 4 weeks after filler before lip blush. If you're planning both, have lip blush first.
How do I prepare?
For 2 weeks before, avoid retinol and active skincare around your lips, and avoid filler. For 48 hours before, avoid alcohol and blood thinners like aspirin or ibuprofen. Keep lips moisturised. If you get cold sores, tell Sophie before booking so you can take antivirals in advance.
Is it suitable for darker lips?
Yes. Darker or uneven lips may need lip neutralisation first to even out the base. Sophie will advise you at your consultation.
